What the free check looks at
The quick check reads your home page, the page most visitors and crawlers see first. It covers the basics that decide how you appear: your page's name and description in Google, whether your business details are readable as data, whether the page works on phones, how your link looks when shared, photo descriptions, whether the site is secure and allowed in Google, and which AI assistants your robots.txt lets in.
Each problem is ranked. “Fix first” items can keep you out of results altogether, “Worth fixing” items cost you visitors, and “Nice to have” items are polish.

What's a good score?
80 or above means your home page basics are in good shape. 55 to 79 means there are real gains on the table. Below 55 usually means search engines are missing key facts about you.
Why do checks we couldn't run not count against me?
If a firewall or login page stops us reading something, we say we couldn't check it and leave it out of the score. That isn't a failure on your part.
